FAQ
The FDD is the document a franchisor must give you at least 14 days before you sign a franchise agreement or pay any money. In Ontario that's under the Arthur Wishart Act; Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba, New Brunswick and PEI have equivalent laws. Inside you'll find the franchisor's background, every fee and cost, financial statements, a list of current and former franchisees, territory rights, both sides' obligations and a copy of the franchise agreement. The Franchising 101 page walks through it in plain language.
The modelled initial investment for a five-bay location is $475K to $610K before HST, covering the franchise fee, TrackMan iO simulators, bay build-out, leasehold improvements, furniture, deposit and working capital. The Franchise Disclosure Document itemizes every line.
A 7% royalty and a 3% brand marketing fund, both on gross revenue. Technology and software licences are itemized in the Franchise Disclosure Document.
No. Locations run unstaffed. Booking, payment, access codes and bay automation are handled by the platform, so your time goes into marketing, upkeep and your members rather than a front desk.
TrackMan iO, the dual-radar launch monitor used by PGA Tour players, in every bay. It tracks 30+ data points per shot and includes 400+ virtual courses.
Territories are available across Canada, including Ottawa, Durham Region, Hamilton–Niagara, London, Northern Ontario, Edmonton, Vancouver and the Prairies. Six locations operate in Ontario today and three more are opening in Alberta and Manitoba.
Most owners combine equity with bank financing. Being part of a national franchise system with standardized build costs and documented unit economics makes lenders more comfortable, and equipment and leasehold improvements are eligible for the government-backed Canada Small Business Financing Loan program. The franchise team provides the financial model and introductions to franchise-lending specialists.
About four months in the ideal case. Build-out is the long pole at three to four months; financing, site selection and design overlap with it, operator training is three days during construction, and equipment install and launch fill the final weeks. Design and permits need at least a month and are the open variable, since municipal permit timing cannot be guaranteed.

A note on the numbers. The figures on this site are illustrative, drawn from our own operating model for a five-bay Ontario location. They show how the business works, not what any individual location will earn. Your Franchise Disclosure Document is the definitive reference, and where anything here differs from it, the FDD applies.
